Friday, sweet Friday!

I am SO happy it is Friday this week was LONG! It was not a bad week though, just a full week. Which I think is going to be the way life is for awhile. So to my point here...well my first point..

I had to give a presentation last night in my "Adolescence" class about the topic: When does Adolescence End? ...and guess what folks...it can last as late as 25. I would contend that men stay in adolescence through their 30's but that is just my speculation on the matter! Anyway, I am usually a MESS when I have to present things...I don't know what the deal is but that's a pressure I don't enjoy. However, last night I just took a breath and everything was fine, no jitters or butterflies, I just got up and talked. I also made everyone laugh but that was because I thought I was SOOO clever because I titled a slide "Cheesecake is neither cake or pie...discuss." Only a few people were reading my slides clearly because they laughed long before the rest of the class realized what I had done! I did that because in psychology I have noticed...there is no real answer to anything just theories and ideas that all conflict and are all right at the same time...ah human behavior...anywho...

Day 2 of my Fabulous Food Fest is tonight! There will be Italian Meatloaf and Gorgonzola Au Gratin Potatoes, followed on Saturday by Marinated Flank Steak with Caprese Couscous and Asparagus, to be followed on Sunday by something I have yet to determine...but it's going to be AWESOME!

I have really been enjoying my cooking a lot this week, new foods, my husband actually trying things and not being the pickyasaurus he usually is...I still don't enjoy cleaning up but I am working on that...I want to just snap my fingers and have everything be perfect...like Mary Poppins...I need Mary Poppins....hmmm....

Anyway! I have some work I actually have to do today...SHOCKER...better get after it!

Until then,

B
