O.k. so I know, I have been Brittney the Lazy Blogger...but I am back at it! I just hate to waste blog space with boring...
So had Book club with my favorite ladies this weekend and did a little Bachelorette throwback night this weekend! It was so fun! These ladies just rock! We challenge each others ideas and make each other laugh and oh yeah....we read a book too! Ha! We read "Committed" by Elizabeth Gilbert. Though I admit I have still not quite finished (got behind and its too good for a speed read ending!) I have really liked this book. I love witty, straightforward writing and I think that is what you get here...thumbs up from me if anyone cares to check it out!
Also, the First Lady brought us picks for our new book and I am VERY excited about our choice. It's call "The Secret History" by Donna Tartt. It looks might interesting...will let you know!
Altogether it was a very fun weekend filled with people I love!
So other things on my mind today: Have you ever had a friend you just love to death but they are eternally stuck in a holding pattern? I have one of those right now! I just do not know how to tell this person that the only person causing them problems is them!!!! Anyway, I have determined this is basically an exercise in futility because no amount of me encouraging is going to make them deal with their issues with them self...yet I keep trying because I keep hoping one day the self loathing, fear, and excuses will stop holding them back...sigh....just needed to get that one out there!
People, don't let YOU get in the way of what you want and need to do for yourself! Stop making excuses, just get out there and go for it! I know it's hard, I look in the mirror every morning and tell myself to deal with how things are now or change them! I choose change daily!
Anyway enough of me ranting! Have a wonderful day! Go out and do something for yourself!

What a fun time, indeed. I hope the book is good! I just ordered mine off Amazon.
I'm going to do something for me now... Eat lunch! ;)
